GAWLIK AWARDS JUNE 5, 2019 7PM
We pay tribute to the creative spirit of Brian Gawlik by sharing and honoring the finest works produced in the Cinematography Department this year. In the spirit of the Academy Awards, we roll out the red carpet and share the nominations. Come dressed to impress, and enjoy and evening of music, dance and cinematography!
FALL FILM 2018
A student directed, student written and student cast and crew Fall Film project.
ITVFest OCT. 8-15, 2018
There are thousands of film festivals that connect indie filmmakers with producers, agents, and distributors. There is only ONE festival exclusively for independently produced episodic TV content. The Independent Television Festival is a worldwide community of creators, executives, and professionals that curates the best new episodic programming created on independent budgets (aka, non-network budgets).
All cinema students will be working during class to support ITVFest. You will also be expected to pull a shift or two after school.
MIDTERM ELECTIONS NOVEMBER 6, 2018
The 2018 midterm elections, featuring hundreds of congressional, state and local primaries, will culminate with the Nov. 6 general election to decide whether Democrats can gain control of Congress or if Republicans will keep their hold on the legislative branch. We will be interviewing the candidates and reporting live all day from selected voting sites.
